Weekly Track Titan Update

CW 40 Weekly Track Titan Update

If you take a look at this weekly update's header image you will quickly realise that a) this is Spa and b) it's a car flying into Eau Rouge not fully flat out but actually fully lifting and (unfortunately) needing a tiny bit of brakes. If you've been paying attention to one our main focus areas in the last few weeks, you'll know this can only mean one thing: AC track guides are finally here. A big milestone for us and a great one to reach just as I write this update. I know I know, it's not the cleanest lap ever but come on, it was a four-lap test session right after a big lunch to make sure everything works and at least it's a second faster than the best time we had on the leaderboard until then. If you happen to want to get faster around Spa in the McLaren P1, this one is for you:

Calendar Week 40 Update:

New and faster setup shop live

Last week, we were about to launch it and after fixing some final issues, we now have. Getting new setups is now easier and faster than ever. Check them out here, the Hymo team add loads of new ones each week.

Video track guides
Our best ever week in terms of new track guides with a ton more posted for both iRacing and ACC and - as mentioned above - our first AC guide with many more to come!

New and improved quick tips coming

Quick tips are the AI generated driving tips we show you for each corner. They're pretty much the lifeblood of TT; after all, you are here so we can help you get faster! We are always improving them in the background to make sure all edge cases are handled and we're currently finalising a big push that will give you much better tips related to your racing line. In a way, the line is where most things start to go wrong so we're building something pretty cool and complex to assess what type of line you are taking, what line you should be taking, how it affects the rest of your performance, and so on. Hopefully more details on this next week :)

Not so fun: Kicking out abusers

Not like this helps most of you directly but the whole point of these updates is that you get more of a complete picture of what we are working on and why. As with any free trial product, Track Titan suffers from abusers trying to get stuff for free again and again. This is obviously against our terms and conditions but a handful of people do it anyways. When we were small, we said "f*** it" but by now, it is costing us hundreds if not thousands a month and a) it's a matter of principle to address this and b) we'd much rather reinvest those funds into giving better tips, supporting more games, etc. Someone even downloaded loads of setups to then resell them in a dodgy shop which is just nasty. The Hymo guys drive their heart out to create these and we will hunt down people like this relentlessly.

We've put in place a few more things to prevent this from happening and it will ultimately mean we as a company and community can grow faster and support useful features better.

Two very exciting secret projects

We touched on this last week and for one of these projects, we have launched an important first step. Not more we can share for now besides the fact that this first iteration has already benefited some of you and with a gradual rollout/improvements, it will eventually make Track Titan more valuable for every single member.
