CW 37 Weekly Track Titan Update

Welcome back and hello from an actual race track this week: The legendary Spa-Francorchamps

Besides the main work on Track Titan, I occasionally work as a racing instructor for Porsche which luckily gives me some seat time around awesome tracks like Spa, the Nürburgring, Portimao, etc.
I got back from two days of coaching at Spa yesterday and it's really helpful for our work at Track Titan to make sure getting coaching insights does not remain something only accessible for the wealthy racers who can afford an actual 911 GT3 RS but for everyone who is looking to get faster, whether on the virtual track or the real one. As you can see on the pic below, it was proper Spa weather.

A shorter week for me but the team kept pushing. Below are our latest updates for you.

Dynamic reference laps --> Track Titan Personalised Reference Lap
What was an idea and as of last week a project in beta now has a name and is live in production in its first iteration: Your very own personalised reference lap.
Track Titan now does not only give you driving tips but also elaborates on the why behind them by showing you the most valuable comparison data for you and only you. Many of you complained that comparison data might not be helpful if the conditions, the setup or the driving skill level are different and this is exactly what we address with this.

Want to try it out? Simply keep doing what your doing, the default reference lap on TT is now your personalised one. More finesse to come; this is an endless project with the goal to give you the best data to learn from.

A freebie that came with it: We now show the conditions of both your and the chosen reference lap.

Video track guides
We keep pushing out more guides and as you will have seen, we are now also covering ACC besides iRacing. Lots of tech and creative work going into this to make sure the guides are useful and as always, it's not as easy as you'd think, hence the slightly slower pace of posting last week.

Rotation on the track map

A long-requested feature: When you go through your data, you can now choose whether the direction of the racing line map is static or changes as you "drive" through a corner.

Check out a quick video showing it here. A simple but very effective change that really makes the segment page come to life :)

New onboarding flow

Not relevant for many of you but we also always think about how we can best help new Track Titan members get set up. To improve this, we are currently testing a new type of onboarding flow and the first results are looking promising!
